The Lea Valley Mobility Shop is a family-run business based in the heart of Hoddesdon Town Centre, Hertfordshire and has been established since September 2009. We provide a huge range of mobility products for those in need of our services. We take pride in our friendly customer care, and have built up a good reputation over the years. We are happy to offer a home visit if required without any obligation. Our opening times are Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm, Saturday 9am – 4pm. Come and visit us in our shop where you will be assured of a warm welcome and we will do our very best to meet your mobility requirements. We look forward to seeing you.

We stock a range of mobility scooters
from popular brands such as Shoprider. Whether it's a compact 4mph scooter
that fits into the boot of a car, or the larger, faster 8mph scooter, we
are sure you will find the ideal scooter from our range. You can have
peace of mind, that all our new scooters will come with a full 12 month
warranty, so that should it develop a fault, your warranty will cover all
parts and labour costs - you will not have to pay a thing! If you already
own a scooter, we can also offer you a full service. If you have a flat
tyre or a flat battery, our engineers will put your mobility scooter back
on the road in no time at all. Call us to book an appointment.
All types of wheelchairs and powerchairs available, from self-propelled to transit wheelchairs. All our wheelchairs are easy to fold, lightweight and come with optional handbrake mechanism. Our lightest wheelchair weighs only 8.4kg (18.5lbs) and we always have plenty in stock. We also provide a wheelchair hire service at £5 per day ( minimum 1 weeks hire of £35 applies ) for customers who may only need a wheelchair for a short period of time. Please call us to reserve your wheelchair if you need to hire one.
If you find walking unaided a little difficult then we can help. We have a large selection of walking sticks, walking frames, crutches and quad canes. We also stock walkers with three wheels and four wheels with shopping basket and seat. Replacement rubber ferrules of all sizes in store .

We have the largest selection of electric recliner chairs with a lift and tilt action of any local retailer.
